Current Books is the retail store division of DC Books, the first ISO certified publishing house in India. In 1977, DC Kizhakemuri, the founder of DC Books, took over Current Books, a bookstore that was established in 1952. Current Books, then consisting of 6 stores has never looked back since. DC’s pioneering work in the field of book publishing found an outlet in Current Books, which was subsequently expanded for this purpose. DC Books publications could thus reach more and more people.
